BlackBoard – Foot Stability (Twist Exercise)

To step powerfully, our feet need the ability to actively twist. Only when the forefoot can rotate inward (in eversion) against the heel can it create this active twist — forming the foundation for efficient movement.

Twist Exercise

Place the long BlackBar on the outer side of the FootBoard and a short BlackBar on the inner side of the HeelBoard.
Stand in a slight lunge position with your weight on the leg you’re training. Move your knee forward into a slight bend and then back again. Make sure the forefoot stays in contact with the BlackBoard throughout the entire exercise.
